2. Scope of Services

PJ Rubble Removal provides:

  • Rubble, garden waste, and general waste removal
  • Site clearing and clean-up
  • Equipment hire (e.g., skips, trucks, machinery)
  • Specialised removals such as asbestos or construction waste

Services are provided within Pretoria and surrounding areas, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any service request if:

  • It poses a safety, legal, or environmental risk;
  • It falls outside our operational area; or
  • Required access or information is not provided.

3. Quotations and Pricing

  • All quotations are free and valid for 7 days, unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices are based on the information provided by the client (e.g., waste type, volume, access conditions).
  • If the actual waste volume or site conditions differ, we may adjust the final price accordingly.
  • All prices are quoted excluding VAT, unless otherwise indicated.
  • Additional charges may apply for:
    • Extra labour or time on site;
    • Difficult access or hazardous materials;
    • Disposal fees for restricted or specialised waste (e.g., asbestos, chemicals).

4. Booking and Payment Terms

  • Service bookings must be confirmed in writing (via email, SMS, or WhatsApp).
  • Payment terms:
    • Private clients: Payment is due on or before service completion unless otherwise agreed.
    • Corporate/contract clients: Payment is due within 7–30 days of invoice, as per agreement.
  • We accept payments via EFT, cash, or approved payment platforms.
  • Failure to pay may result in:
    • Suspension of services;
    • Withholding removal or equipment;
    • Legal recovery action (with client liable for collection costs and interest).

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled service may incur a call-out fee.
  • Services may be rescheduled (subject to availability) with reasonable notice.
  • PJ Rubble Removal reserves the right to reschedule services due to unforeseen events such as severe weather, equipment breakdown, or safety concerns.

6. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about waste type, quantity, and site access;
  • Ensuring access to the property or site on the scheduled date;
  • Obtaining any necessary permits or authorisations for removal or disposal;
  • Ensuring that waste does not contain hazardous materials (unless declared and approved).

If hazardous or prohibited materials are found, additional handling/disposal charges may apply, or the service may be refused.


7. Equipment Hire

Where equipment (e.g., skips, trucks, tools) is hired:

  • The client assumes responsibility for loss or damage during the hire period (excluding normal wear and tear);
  • Equipment must not be overloaded or misused;
  • The client must ensure that hired equipment is accessible for collection at the agreed time.
    Failure to return or allow collection of equipment may result in additional daily hire fees.

8. Waste Disposal and Environmental Compliance

  • All waste is disposed of at licensed landfill or recycling facilities in accordance with local regulations.
  • We comply with all relevant environmental, health, and safety laws.
  • Clients should not include illegal, toxic, or hazardous waste unless specifically agreed upon.

9. Liability

  • PJ Rubble Removal takes all reasonable precautions when performing services but will not be liable for:
    • Damage to underground pipes, cables, or structures not clearly marked or disclosed;
    • Damage resulting from poor site conditions or restricted access;
    • Indirect, incidental, or consequential loss (including profit loss or business interruption).
  • Our total liability will not exceed the value of the service provided.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold PJ Rubble Removal harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or costs arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of our services.

By using our website, you agree:
